Customizing the search

Tailor the search to your needs by adding parameters at the end of the URL. For example, the URL for Advanced Search of all Oregon Conference congregations would be:

http://www.eadventist.net/search/iframe.asp?type=a&mask=ANIF&class=2

Select the search type:

type -
- default = Single-line search (a la Google) – example
- a = Advanced search – example
- d = Distance search – example
- L = List – example

Restrict the search scope:

mask - use OrgID, omit any trailing 1's - example
1. ANP8 = Central California Conference
2. ANP = Pacific Union
3. AN = North American Division (default)
class - (Advanced, Distance and List only) - example
1. 1 = administrative – division/union/conference
2. 2 = congregation – church, company or group
3. 3 = school – K-8, K-10, K-12, 10-12, college, university, kindergarten
orgtype - (List only) - example
1. 5 = church
2. 6 = company
3. 15 = group
4. 7 = K-8 school
5. 8 = K-10 school
6. 9 = K-12 school
7. 10 = 10-12 school

Match the color scheme of your site with these parameters:

titlecolor - example with default titlecolor, example with titlecolor, example with RGB titlecolor
title2color - example with default title2color, example with title2color, example with RGB titlecolor

Recommendations

Early browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer 3, Netscape 4) will not render the IFRAME tag. Instead, they will display any code between the <IFRAME> and the </IFRAME> tags. For example:
